Q: Are there any rules about the use of the Trails or other Common Areas?
A: In 2005 a committee was formed to collect and discuss ideas for such rules. The result was the preparation of the COMMON AREA GUIDELINES.
Q: Who owns the common areas?
A: The Common Areas, including lake, were created by the Developer in the platting process. The common areas were deeded over in November 2009 and are now owned by the Walnut Creek Homes Association.
Q: What is the Neighborhood Watch program?
A: A program that unites law enforcement agencies, local organizations and individual citizens in a community-wide effort to reduce residential crime.
Q: How does a homeowner enforce the Covenants when a violation has occurred?
A: The Conditions, Covenanants and Deed Restrictions are in place for the benefit of all homeowners. A complaint filed with the Homes Association Board might get results. Or a Homeowner can seek legal redress on his/her own. See article below.
Q: Does the High Point Farm property belong to the Walnut Creek Estates Homes Association?
A: The High Point Farm property is designated as Lot 16 of the Walnut Creek Estates No. 4 Subdivision. It is not part of the homes association. See history article below.
